How to write a song in Suno

Suno sings your lyrics with vocals and arrangement. The result depends a lot on how you format the lyrics and describe the style. A Suno V4.5 run costs 3,000 tokens, ≈ $0.10 for two tracks.

Lyrics structure

Mark song parts with tags in square brackets: [Intro], [Verse], [Pre-Chorus], [Chorus], [Bridge], [Outro]. Repeat the chorus text wherever it should play.

Lyrics go up to 5,000 characters.

The style field

Write genre, tempo, voice and instruments, comma-separated, up to 1,000 characters. Do not name famous artists: Suno rejects them. Describe the sound instead.
