Kling is made by the Chinese company Kuaishou. It handles human and animal motion well: walking, gestures and facial expressions look natural. That makes it a common pick for clips with characters.

The new Kling 4.0 renders 3 to 30 seconds at 720p or 1080p, always with sound. You can upload images as the first frame, keyframes and the last frame: up to 10, and no more than the clip length in seconds plus one. Kling 3.0 makes 5 or 10 second clips with Pro and 4K modes. Older versions 2.6 and 2.5 cost less.

Beyond plain video there is Kling Avatar, which makes a talking character from a photo and audio, and Motion Control, which moves a character from an image the way someone moves in your clip. Failed generations are refunded.
